Step 1:Pick a VoD from its channel.
Pick the quality to store. We fetch the video and index every chat message beside it. A six-hour 1080p stream is in your workspace in about ten minutes.
Step 2:The chat graph shows where it got good.
Chat activity across the whole stream, with six reaction layers underneath: laugh, hype, tease, wholesome, sad and mad. The Moments list sorts the peaks by score. Filter by an emote, a word or a chatter and the graph redraws for just that.
Step 3:Mark in and out. Name it. Move on.
Set points on the graph or in the player, drop the clip into a category and let the naming template fill in the rest. Keyboard shortcuts for all of it.
Step 4:Put the chat on top of the clip.
A transparent MOV or a flat MP4 of exactly the seconds your clip covers, with animated 7TV, BTTV and FFZ emotes. Set the chat delay once per streamer and it carries into every render.
Step 5:Open the whole cut in DaVinci Resolve.
Download clip MP4s and overlay MOVs, or export an FCPXML 1.10 timeline that Resolve 19+ opens with every cut in place. The desktop app saves straight to a folder.

Do I need to download the VoD?
No. We fetch it at 230 Mb/s and keep it in your workspace. You only download the clips, overlays and timeline you export.
Does vod.ing render my finished video?
No. vod.ing is the pre-cut: you find the moments, cut clips and overlays, and export an FCPXML timeline. The edit itself happens in DaVinci Resolve.
