Which emote platforms are supported?

Twitch global + channel emotes, 7TV (animated), BTTV (animated and static), and FrankerFaceZ. Emotes are preserved in chat overlay renders.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The 50 GB plan starts with a 7-day free trial of the full editor. A card is required so your access continues seamlessly when the trial ends, but you are not charged during the trial and can cancel any time before it ends. One trial per person.

Can I try vod.ing without entering a card?

The editor trial needs a card on file. Separately, we offer a few standalone free tools you can use with no account, like the free chat overlay renderer (10 renders per day, up to 3 minutes each). They're separate utilities, not a trial of the app, so they don't reflect the in-editor experience.

What do I get back as output?

MP4 clips, MP4/MOV chat overlays with alpha. Timeline (FCPXML) that can be imported into your Editor.

Does it work for non-Twitch VoDs?

Not yet. vod.ing is Twitch-only on purpose, because the chat graph and emote filtering only make sense where chat is the signal.
