No. We fetch the VoD on a dedicated 230 Mb/s pipe and host it for you. The chat index is built server-side. Your drive stays empty unless you choose to export.

Yes. The 50 GB plan starts with a 7-day free trial of the full editor, no card needed. Nothing is charged during the trial; add a card before it ends if you want the plan to continue, otherwise it simply stops. One trial per Twitch account.

Yes. The 7-day trial starts without a card for any Twitch account older than three months (newer accounts are asked for a card so trials stay one per person). There is also a live demo VoD you can open without signing in, and standalone free tools like the free chat overlay renderer (10 renders per day, up to 3 minutes each).

Storage is how much you can hold at once: every VoD in your library (video + chat) plus your rendered clips. VoD ingest is how much you can pull from Twitch into Voding per month. Bandwidth out is how much you can download per month (clip MP4s, chat overlays, bundles). Render compute is the server time your clip and overlay renders may use per month. The three monthly quotas reset each billing month; storage is a ceiling.

Remove VoDs you are done with from the ⋯ menu in your library. Their space is free straight away and the toast offers Undo at no cost. We keep the data for 15 days, so requesting the same VoD again in that window brings it back instantly with your clips intact (it counts as a fresh request against storage and ingest). Because ingest is several times larger than storage, you can keep cycling new VoDs through the same library all month.
